Behind the match: Gene Sykes, MBA ’84
Gene Sykes, a member of Stanford’s Board of Trustees, is an ardent Stanford supporter. As the CEO of LA28, he played an instrumental role in securing the 2028 Summer Olympics for the United States. Sykes is currently co-head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions and co-chairman of the Global Technology, Media and Telecom Group at Goldman Sachs.
